Piano Lessons

At Daffodil Music Studio, we help students become well-rounded musicians, capable of performing in a variety of musical styles such as classical, jazz, rock, and blues, and proficient in sight-reading, playing by ear, improvising, and composing.

Our programs also ensure that students have lots of fun as they progress through their musical studies.

A variety of lesson formats and activities provide many opportunities for learning and fun. Students focus on their individual skills and interests, make music together with peers, and share musical accomplishments with friends and family.

Pre-Piano Lessons (ages 5-8)

Pre-Piano Lessons provide the skills needed to begin a successful musical journey toward piano playing and musicianship. Lessons include introductory keyboard activities combined with singing, creative and structured movement, playing instruments, and ear training.

Piano Lessons (ages 8-adult)

Piano Lessons provide individualized instruction that is tailored for each student. Lessons are available for students from beginner to advanced levels of playing and include instruction in sight-reading, music theory, technique, memorization, ear-training, composition, and improvisation. Students may focus on classical, jazz, and/or other styles of music.

Composition Classes

These classes focus on all areas of composing music for the piano. Classes cover topics such as discovering the initial inspiration for the piece, notating musical ideas, and expanding/developing ideas through music composition techniques.

Music Parties

Music parties provide a fun occasion for students to work on duets, improvisation in an ensemble, performance of solo and ensemble pieces, and other musical activities.
